    William Arguelles, PhD, MSPH is the Manager of Advanced Analytics & Healthcare Initiatives at Baptist Health South Florida. In his role, he collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop and integrate advanced data analytic models within clinical practice, aimed at improving patient outcomes and organizational performance. Dr. Arguelles joined Baptist Health South Florida from the University of Miami’s Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine and College of Arts & Sciences, where he served as a scientific investigator for the multi-site Hispanic Community Health Study/Study of Latinos – the largest-ever prospective epidemiological study of diverse Hispanics/Latinos living in the United States. Dr. Arguelles holds a PhD in Cardiovascular Behavioral Medicine (Master of Science in Clinical Health Psychology) as well as a Master of Science in Public Health, both from the University of Miami. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Health Psychology at the University of Miami. His expertise is in utilizing structural equation modeling techniques to examine latent health risk/protective variables and their association with observed clinical outcomes.
