About
Ashfaq Ahmed is a Biostatistician in Center for Advanced Analytics in Baptist Health South Florida. His PhD project involved mechanistic modeling of physiological systems. In particular, he was interested in how rhythms develop in gastrointestinal system and how anomalies in gastric rhythms can potentially result in gastric motility disorders. Apart from biophysical modeling and signal processing, now he wants to expand his forte in statistical modeling, natural language processing techniques and medical image processing.
