    Matthew Treiser, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Institute, and Miami Cancer Institute, parts of Baptist Health South Florida. He specializes in plastic, reconstructive, hand and microsurgery. He offers a variety of services for patients, including oncologic reconstruction, and treatment for hand fractures and conditions, as well as peripheral nerve conditions and injuries. An expert in reconstructive surgery, Dr. Treiser has participated in multiple hand transplant surgeries and was a member of the first penile transplant surgery performed in the United States. Dr. Treiser joined Miami Cancer Institute from the Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. While there, he served as an assistant professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as hand and microsurgery.
