    Mark Dylewski, M.D., is a thoracic and robotic surgeon at Miami Cancer Institute, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed residencies at the University of California Davis-East Bay and the University of Albany Medical Center. Dr. Dylewski is an expert in minimally invasive thoracic surgery. He is Board-certified in general surgery and thoracic surgery and is one of the country's pioneers in the area of robotic pulmonary and esophageal surgery. He developed the complete port access robotic-assisted technique using the da Vinci robot to perform pulmonary and esophageal surgery without spreading the ribs, an innovative procedure that is being adopted by other surgeons. Dr. Dylewski's research and clinical results have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, including Seminars in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Journal of Robotic Surgery and the Annals of Thoracic Surgery. He speaks at national and international conferences on minimally invasive robotic techniques for the treatment of intrathoracic disease. He is a founding member of the Clinical Robotic Surgical Association and a member of the American College of Surgeons, General Thoracic Surgical Club and Society of Thoracic Surgery.
