Katherine Tryon

I am a Clinical Learning Nurse Educator with a strong foundation in critical care, built on over 20 years of ICU nursing experience. Though that clinical chapter was earlier in my career, it continues to inform and enrich my approach to nursing education today. As a proud veteran I served in both active-duty U.S. Army and Air Force Reserves, where I developed leadership, resilience, and a deep commitment to service & took on several leadership roles. I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of nurses, and integrating my military discipline, critical care expertise, and educational excellence into every lesson, bringing a unique blend of discipline, leadership, and service-oriented mindset to the classroom and beyond. Currently I am a dedicated Nurse Educator coordinating and managing an arrhythmia curriculum, bringing a deep understanding of cardiac care, clinical excellence, and instructional design to nursing education.
