About
Devica Samsundar is the director of the Library & Research Support department for Baptist Health South Florida. Her training, publications, and work experience have all consistently revolved around Library Science and Information Technology. Devica has worked with the BHSF Medical Library for over 25 years. She earned her Master of Science from Florida State University in Library & Information Studies and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Maine in Library and Information Technology. She has been very active in the medical library field, with present and past affiliations as Chair of the Miami Health Sciences Library Consortium, member of the Florida Health Science Library Association (FHSLA), member of the National Library of Medicine’s Southeastern Atlantic Regional Advisory Technology Committee, and more.
