    Alan Saperstein, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine/ Arthroscopic Surgery and Total Joint Replacement Surgery. He is board certified in both orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He has practiced in South Florida since 1995 and in Boca Raton since 2002. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College. He received his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine where he was awarded the Valentine Mott Medal. He performed his surgical internship and orthopedic residency at New York University Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital before completing a sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital where he served as a team physician with the New York Jets and New York Rangers. He is currently one of the team orthopedic surgeons for the Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Lynn University and Spanish River High School athletic programs.
